Today the Milwaukee German Community lost one of its most dedicated voluteers, Margrit Heitmann. She was a director of German Fest for many years, but take a look at this Article written by Andy Wagner.

Heitmann, Magrit J. (Nee Penshorn) March 13, 2008. Age 78 years. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years. Horst K. Heitmann. Cherished mother of Hans (Amparo), Klaus (Beth) and Roland Heitmann. Loving grandmother of Matthew, Erika, Vanessa and James. Also survived by other relatives and friends in the USA and Germany. Visitation Sat., March 15, at the Funeral Home, from 12 Noon until time of the Funeral Service at 2:00 PM. Private interment Summit Cemetery, Summit, WI.
