Rest in Peace Joe Bittner

Joe Bittner passed away on December 22 at the age of 56. Joe was part of the DCS Shooters and lead them to some of their best scores in trap shooting. Joe was always there with a helpful hint and enjoyed the time with the "guys". He was a generous donor to the Boxhorn Gun club and if you are there sometime look for his name on a placque thanking him for the voice activated trap station.

Joe participated in the Breast Cancer Awareness shoot held at Boxhorn this year because his dear friend Hans has a daughter that has been battling this horrible disease. Click Here to see some pictures of that event.

The funeral will be held at Harders Funeral home, 18700 W. Capitol Drive, on Saturday December 27, 9 am -- Service 11 am. Click Here to go the the Milwaukee Journal announcement and you will be able to sign the guestbook located at the website.

Scott C Seban - Music Venders

Our sincere condolences to the family & friends of Scott Seban. Scott was a familier face to the German-American community in Milwaukee. He was a member of the popular Music Venders Band, who is scheduled to play at the Bavarian Inn's Oktoberfest this weekend.

Please go to the website of the Music Venders to read the fine tribute they made to their dear friend and fellow band member.

Here is the intro page at the Music Venders website that described Scott.

Name: Scott Seban
Birthday: October 4, 1969
Day Job: Semi-Truck Driver
Family: Single
Instrument: Sound & Light Technician, Back-up Vocalist

Favorite Entertainer/Musician: Styx, Billy Joel, Frank Sinatra
Hobbies/Interests: Snowmobiling, Vacationing in Northern Wisconsin
Drink of Choice: Southern Comfort & Coke
Year Started with Band: 1992

History:
Originally from central Illinois, Scott moved to Wisconsin in 1985. He met Chris while they were both attending Milwaukee Lutheran High School, which is where they became friends.

After graduation, life took them into different directions, until 1991, when the two crossed paths again. Chris had already formed a band, but felt that it was too much to run the sound equipment efficiently, and perform on stage as well. Scott had been working part-time as a disc jockey for a music company in Milwaukee, and had some sound equipment knowledge and experience as well. Soon thereafter, Scott made his debut with the band, and has been an intricate part of The Music Venders ever since.

In recent years, Scott has also been singing third part harmony in many of the band’s American and German selections, which has been an enlightening experience for Scott to say the least. His talents make him truly unique, and set him apart from the ordinary soundman.

This was the death notice published at the funeral home's website.
