This is the home of the German radio show running from 1990 to 2007 in Milwaukee, WI. Though the radio show is no longer on the air, we continue to maintain this site for its past outstanding achievements!
On Saturday, September 12, Tracy Gest & Zach Wusterbarth were married. Tracy Gest was a frequent guest on the Stimmung Stunde and Miss Wisconsin 2005. Tracy went to Las Vegas representing Wisconsin at the Miss America contest.
On Saturday, July 21, Briana Lipor was crowned Miss Wisconsin 2008 at the annual pageant in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Briana was a guest on the Stimmung Stunde back in January 2007 and carried the title of
Miss Festival of Trees at that time. As usual, Tim Kretschman was there representing his podcast, the Pageant Cast. As I remember Briana from when she was on the Stimmung Stunde, she had a very bubbly personnality and I am sure that she will represent her new title of Miss Wisconsin very well.

Do you miss Radio Melodie as much as I do?
Radio Heimatmelodie is a great Volksmusik/Schlager web-radio. When you click on the link, you will see a small player, just double click and you are connected.
I really like the fact that they have a spot on their webpage that displays the name of the song & the artist that is on. Also, they play the Bavarian national anthem at "their" midnight. I love opening this link and just play it like a radio, while I continue working on my computer. Try it out and see if you like it. Also, it keeps you up-to-date on what is popular in Germany along with local news.
